Disease Detection and Monitoring
Support and guide NASCAP, NACA, NCDC, NTBCP, GF, USAID, and USCDC to improve case detection in HIV, TB, Hepatitis, Malaria, and other public health diseases by using national testing algorithms and screening tools effectively.
Improving Quality Assurance of Testing
PSHI enhances HIV, TB, Hepatitis testing access through quality assurance initiatives, tester competency assessment, EQA panel management training, and electronic data management for continuous improvement.
Strengthening Bio Safety and Bio Security
PSHI will strengthen biosecurity and biosafety in laboratories by enhancing pathogen handling, waste management, and collaborating for bio risk assessments and national biosafety program improvements.
Biological Sample Transportation and Logistics Management
PSHI will integrate public health diseases into NISRN, working on system assessments, SOP updates, and geo-mapping labs for efficient, disease-agnostic national laboratory response.
Prevention, Care and Treatment
PSHI will enhance prevention, care, and treatment programs in public health via consortium partnerships and stakeholder engagement. This includes collaborating with government officials, SACA, ART coordinators, DOTs clinics, healthcare providers, and community leaders during program planning, design, and implementation.
Supply Chain and Logistics Management
PSHI aims to boost access to lab and treatment supplies, ensuring uninterrupted delivery, optimizing supply chain efficiency, and building skilled workforce, with strategic private sector collaboration.
